How to get to Bournizeaux
By car: from Paris you successively take the motorway A10 (toll) to Orléans, the A71 (toll) to Vierzon, the A20 to Limoges; just before Limoges you leave the ‘autoroute’ and take the N21 to Périgueux and then Bergerac; in Bergerac you take the D660 (direction Bordeaux) to Ste Foy-la-Grande and Pineuilh, and from there the local road D18 in the direction of Eymet; after about 14 km you will arrive at the crossing with the D16; there you turn right in the direction of Loubès-Bernac, and at the first crossroads (after 200 metres) you turn right again to Uffer and Les Bournizeaux (or Bournizeaux). At Bournizeaux you pass the tiny yellow Post Office mailbox on the right into a ‘cul-de-sac’. ‘Les Clefs’is right at the end. (Also check our route-map.)Alternative: from Limoges you can also stay on the A20 and drive as far as Brive Lagaillarde. There you take the motorway A89 (toll) in the direction of Périgueux. South of Périgueux you take the N21 to Bergerac.
Traveltimes from the ferry terminals and the chunnel to Bournizeaux: Calais – 10 to 11 hours drive; Cherbourg, Caen, Le Havre – 8 to 9 hours; Saint Malo – 6 to 7 hours.

By train: from Paris there is an excellent railway-connection with Bordeaux by TGV (high-speed train). Some trains stop before Bordeaux too, in Libourne, where you can get off the train. From Bordeaux a train regularly runs, via Libourne, to Bergerac and stops at Ste Foy-la-Grande
By bus: Eurolines run many buses from London to Brussels where you may transfer for Bordeaux.
By plane: from different places in the UK various companies fly on Bordeaux. There is a transfer-service by bus from the airport to the railway-station and back. Ryan Air operates a daily flight service between London-Stanstead and Bergerac, and Flybe between Southampton, Birmingham and Bristol and Bergerac. From Amsterdam Airport (Schiphol) Transavia flies weekly three times on Bergerac (around 90 euro's single fare, all ancluded). Car hire is available from both Bordeaux and Bergerac airports.
We can easily arrange your transfer (and if necessary that of your bike) from Ste Foy-la-Grande or Bergerac (railway-station or airport) to ‘Les Clefs’ and back.
